Biography* Charlotte Dolan Drunasky, 1894-1944:
After her mother died in 1899, Charlotte went to live with her uncle and aunt, Michael Manley and Mary Skalitzky. She grew up believing she was a Manley - until her biological father visited her school one day and asked to see her! Charlotte attended the parochial school at Sun Prairie, Sun Prairie High School, and the Madison Business College. After she married Louis Drunasky in 1915, they moved to a farm two miles east of Sun Prairie. In 1918, they purchased a farm three miles east of Burke Station where they remained until they moved to Madison in 1942. Charlotte was a member of the Burke Neighborhood club, the Christian Mothers of Madison, and the Saint Anne's Society of Sun Prairie.

Charlotte, age 50, died in her home at 1420 Williamson Street in Madison on a Thursday, after a long illness. Survivors included her husband, four daughters, two sons, one grandson, four granddaughters, and one brother Joebe Tracy of Midland, Michigan. Charlotte was also survived by her foster family; mother, Mrs. Mary Manley; four sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Sachtjen of Madison, Mrs. Arnold Kroncke of Sun Prairie, Mrs. Clement Schwingle of Elm Grove, and Mrs. Peter A. Nelson of Chicago; and two brothers, Vernon and Robert Manley of Sun Prairie. An infant son, Wilbur preceded her in death. The funeral service was held on Monday from Sacred Hearts and was officiated by the Rev. G. A. Haeusler. Pallbearers, all former neighbors, were Floyd Morehouse, Steve Krajco, Jerry Cremer, William Wolfe, Dan McCloskey, and Wade Hughey. Out of town relatives and friends who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Joebe Tracy and son of Midland, MI plus their daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. William Bliven and Mrs. Mary Loudden of Evansville, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Theis of Arnott, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Manley of Waupun, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Manley and William Manley of Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schwebs and Mrs. Charles Schwebs of DeForest, Mrs. Clement J.
