Biography* Patricia A. McCabe Coleman, 1928-2021:
Patricia ''Pat'' was the third of six children and the second of three daughters. She was born and grew up on the family farm in Sheridan township, Sioux County, Iowa. In 1949, Pat married Robert Coleman at Saint Patrick's Catholic church in Sheldon, Iowa. In 1967 when Pat's father Matthew McCabe died, she and family were living in Davenport, Iowa. Sometime after 1992, when her husband Robert died, Pat moved to Bettendorf, Iowa. Pat had been an active parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Anthony's. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Patricia, 92, died on a Friday at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Survivors include five children, a daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Pat was preceded by her husband Robert, daughter Mary Coleman Meyer, son Mark, son-in-law Bob Bennett and siblings Matthew, Lucille O'Kane, Kathryn Lenoch, John and Charles. Funeral services were held on Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Davenport. Pat was buried with her husband Robert. Memorials to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Saint Anthony's Window were suggested.

Biography* Kathryne E. McCabe Lenoch, 1931-2018:
Kathryne, nicknamed Kate, was the fourth of six children and the youngest of three daughters. She was born and raised on the family farm in Sioux County, Iowa. Her Iowa state birth record lists her name as Catherine Ellen McCabe. In 1954 Kate married Peter Lenoch in Sheldon, Iowa at St. Patrick’s Catholic church. In 1967, when her father Matthew McCabe died, they were living in Cuba City, Wisconsin. By 1991, they were living in Madison. Kate and Peter were blessed with ten children. She dedicated her life to raising her family and took immense pride in doing so. Kate enjoyed making rosaries, baking bread, countless candies, birthday and wedding cakes. Her sewing machine was used to make clothes, clowns and other crafts in her spare time. Kate had a great sense of humor and wonderful wit.

Kate, 87, died at home on a Friday. She was survived by nine of her ten chidren, 29 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one sister, one brother, three sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Kate was preceded in death by her parents; husband Peter;
a daughter; sister Lucille O'Kane; brothers Matthew and Charles; sisters-in-law Magdalen Kasper and Betty Ann McCabe; brothers-in-law Leo Lenoch, John Lenoch, Father Francis Lenoch, Robert Coleman, Dick O’Kane, John Kasper and Joseph Krall. The funeral was held on Wednesday at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic church in Madison with Fr. Robert Hughes and Fr. Bob Evenson presiding. The family wished to thank Fr. Bob Evenson, Dr. Randall Haas and staff, Agrace Hospice Care staff and many family and friends for their kind support, outstanding care and never-ending compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Maria Goretti Catholic church or Agrace Hospice Care. Gunderson Fitchburg Funeral & Cremation Care was in charge.

Biography* John Francis McCabe, 1933-2018:
John was the fifth of six children and the second of three sons. He was born and grew up on the family farm in Sheridan township, Sioux County, Iowa. When John's father Matthew died in 1967, John was living in Brunswick, Georgia. By 1969, when his mother Eliabeth died, John was living in Owatonna, Steele County, Minnesota. He was still in Owatonna in 1972 when he married Linda Learn in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. By 1991 when his brother Matthew died, John and Linda were living in Potosi, Grant County, Wisconsin. By 1993, they had moved to Stitzer5, Wisconsin also in Grant County.

John, 84, died at his residence in Stitzer on a Tuesday.

Biography* Charles Michael McCabe, 1937-2017:
Charles was the youngest of six with three older sisters. He was born and raised on the family farm in Sheridan township, Sioux County, Iowa. After graduating from Sheldon, Iowa High School in 1956, Charles enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1959. After his return from the military in 1961, he farmed his father's land. In 1964, he married Doreen Faber in Luverne, Minnesota. When Charles' father Matthew McCabe died in 1967, he and Doreen were living in Sheldon, Iowa. Charles later drove a truck for more than 25 years for Midland Cooperative, Consolidated Freight and Roadway Express. In 1991 when his brother Matthew died, Charles was living in East Moline, Illinois. By 2014, he was liing in Milford, Dickinson County, Iowa when Charles' sister Lucille died. Charles was a member of the Roman Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus.

Charles, 80, died at Bickford Cottage in Sioux City, Iowa on a Tuesday. He was survived by five sons, fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and siblings Patricia Coleman of Bettendorf, Iowa, Katie Lenoch of Madison, Wisconsin, and John McCabe of Stitzer, Wisconsin. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother Matthew; sister Lucille O'Kane; and infant sons, James Patrick and John Paul McCabe. Services were held at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Spirit Lake, Iowa on Saturday. Arrangements were made under the direction of Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Memorials to Alzheimer's Assocaition of Iowa or Sioux City Cosmopolitan Club, both of Sioux City, were suggested.
