Biography* Agnes Pulvermacher Nachreiner, 1910-1980: Born a twin on a farm in Franklin township, Sauk County, Agnes was married at age 18 by the Rev. Charles Surges with witnesses Frederic Nachreiner (husband's brother?) and twin sister Amelia Pulvermacher. She continued to live in the Plain area after her marriage.

Agnes, age 69, died at the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Sac on a Saturday of glioblastoma (cancer of the brain). She was survived by four sons, two daughters, twenty-one grandchildren, three great grandchildren, seven brothers, and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Her funeral was held on Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Leffler officiating.

Biography* Amelia Barbara Pulvermacher Huebsch, 1910-1985:
Born a twin on a farm in Franklin township, Sauk County, Wisconsin, Amelia had moved to Spring Green by the time of her marriage in 1931. The marriage was performed by the Rev. Peter Beschta with witnesses Michael Pulvermacher, her brother, and Dorothy Huebsch, her husband's sister. Amelia later lived in Sextonville in Buena Vista township, Richland County.

She died, at age 75, of lymphoma on a Tuesday at the Pine Valley Manor Nursing Home in Richland Center. She was survived by her husband, one son, one daughter, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services were held on Friday with the Rev. Rex Zimmerman officiating.

Biography* Albert John Pulvermacher, 1911-1967:
Albert was probably born in Bear Creek township, Sauk County. By the time of his 1939 marriage, he was farming near Boscobel in Grant County . By 1957, Albert had moved to Reedsburg in Sauk County. And in 1967, he began working as a janitor at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant.

Albert, age 55, died suddenly on a Thursday in the Reedburg Municipal Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was survived by his wife, two sons, four daughters, eight grandchildren, seven brothers, and four sisters. A member of Sacred Heart Parish in Reedsburg, his funeral was held there on Monday with the Rev. Joseph Brickl officiating.

There is a discrepancy on Lawrence's birth date. It is listed as 23 February in his obituary, as 23 March in his Social Security Record. Born in Plain, his parents moved to Boscobel in Grant County. He enlisted in the U. S. Army at Milwaukee on 16 April 1914. Lawrence had a grade school education, was single, and was working as an automobile serviceman. He continued to live and farm in Boscobel after his 1946 marriage.

Lawrence, age 72, died at his farm home in rural Boscobel on a Monday of an apparent heart attack. He was survived by his wife, three daughters, five grandchildren, four brothers, and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. His funeral was held on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church in Boscobel with the Rev. Laverne Meier officiating. Pallbearers were Marvin Bolchen, James Farrell, Gary Farrell, David Pulvermacher, James Huebsch, and Mike Gruber. Burial was made with graveside rites by the Boscobel American Legion and VFW posts.
