Biography* Dalton F. Moore, 1901-1950:
Dalton's father, born in Michigan, was a physician. He was living with his father in Worthing, South Dakota in 1910 and was probably born there. In 1920, Dalton was living with his uncle Raymond Gerber in Scattered, Highland Township, San Bernardino County, California. In 1930, he was boarding at 1032 5th Street in San Bernardino's 5th ward and was working as a laborer on a railroad. On 25 August 1942, Dalton enlisted at Los Angeles in the United States Army. At the time, he was 41-years-old, had completed one-year of high school and was working as medical equipment maintenance technician. He was single, had no dependents, was 5 ft-11 inches tall and weighed 164-lbs.

Dalton, age 49, died on a Friday.

Biography* Marjorie Gerber Lind, 1902-1974:
Marjorie was adopted by Robert Gerber and Margaret Jones. A high school graduate, she was working as a dressmaker and living in Worthing, South Dakota by 1925. She was the informant on her mother's death record in 1935. And was still a resident of Worthing at her death.

Biography* Carrie A. Voges Gerber, 1875-1957:
Born on a farm east of Worthing, South Dakota, she and her parents moved in 1878 to a homestead near the present Lennox. After her marriage, she and her husband farmed east of Lennox for 24 years. In December 1928, they moved into Lennox. Carrie was a member of the Philathea Circle of the Reformed Chruch since 1929.

Carrie died on a Friday morning after an illness of nineteen days duration. She suffered a light paralytic stroke about a month before she died. On March 11, she entered the hospital where her condition gradually worsened. Complications set in and she passed peacefully, at age 82, from a cerebral vascular hemorragh. Carrie was survived by her husband, one son, two daughters, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother, and a sister. Two children died in infancy. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the Dindot funeral chapel and then the Second Reform church with the Rev. John E. Janssen officiating. Pallbearers were Otto VanBuren, Leo Hemminger, John Ysbrand, Harry Bunjer, Wm. Timmerman, and H. E. Smit.

Biography* Martha Machmiller Gerber, 1890-1919:
Martha was a first generation German-American born to immigrant parents on their home farm in Lynn township. She was the second child of four and the only daughter. After Martha's marriage to Gottfried Gerber, they went to live on the John Gerber farm.

Martha, age 28, died at her home southeast of Lennox on a Thursday after a ten-days-illness of influenza pneumonia. She was survived by her husband and young son. Funeral services were held on Saturday.
