| Biography* | Esther Connelly Ryan, 1900-1985: Esther lived for many years in Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin where she was a member of Saint John Vianney Parish, the Catholic Woman's Club, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was the first president of the Gold Star Mothers of Janesville. Esther, age 85, died on a Sunday at the Nazareth House in Stoughton, Dane County, Wisconsin where she was a resident. She was survived by two sons, three daughters, fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Saint John Vianney's. |
