Alice, 87, died on a Wednesday. She was survived by one son, one daughter, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Alice was preceeded in death by her husband and one grandson. Her funeral was held on Wednesday at Saint Mary's in Hudson.

Born to William Winans and Mary (Galvin) Winans, Helen was christened at Saint Mary's in Hudson on 27 May 1899. A life long resident of Hudson, she was a retired matron for the former state Training School for Girls in Hudson.

A resident of 42 South Fifth Street in Hudson, Helen, 83, died on a Sunday at the Barnwell Health Facility in Valatie. She was survived by two sons, three daughters, 20 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Saint Mary's in Hudson with the Rev. Frank Gilchrist officiating. Pall bearers were Leo Bernockie, John Chaikowski, Mark Chaikawski, Walter Chaikowski, Joseph Carey, and Shaun Carey.

William, age 57, died on a Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Harold Bogan of 217 Union Street. He had been ill for eight weeks. William was survived by his wife, three daughters and one brother. His funeral was held on Monday from St. Mary's Church.

Biography* George J. Young, ca1894-1956:
George was a first generation French Canadian-American. At the time of his 1915 marriage he was living in Rensselaer, New York, the place of his birth. After his marriage he moved to Hudson, Columbia County, New York. In 1920, the family was renting at 251 Warren in Hudson and George worked on steam cars as a drainman. By 1925, the family lived at 520 Washington Street and George was a wholesale dealer of fruits and vegetables. By 1930, they owned the house valued at $16,000. At one time, the household consisted of a grandmother (Anna Conroy Brown), uncle (James Brown), Margaret Brown (mother's aunt), mother & father (Katherine Brown Young & George Young) and three children. During the depression, George lost his business as well as the house on Washington Street. Circa 1933, the family moved to Albany, New York. ANd the circa 1944 to Virginia.
