| Biography* | Henrietta "Etta" Molendorp Gerber, 1875-1937: Etta was born and reared near Lennox according to her obituary. However, six census records (1880, 1900, 1910, 1915, 1920 and 1935) all list her birthplace as Iowa. In any event, Etta was a first generation American born to German parents. She was baptised into the Presbyterian faith. Etta, age 62, was found dead in bed on a Thursday. She was survived by two daughters, two sons, four granddaughters, three sisters, and one brother. Etta was preceded in death by her husband and two sons. Services were held from the Walter Sherman home on Monday and from the Congregational church in Worthing. The Rev. Wm. S. Harper of Beresford and the Rev. J. J. Stimpke officiated. |

| Biography* | Dalton F. Moore, 1901-1950: Dalton's father, born in Michigan, was a physician. He was living with his father in Worthing, South Dakota in 1910 and was probably born there. In 1920, Dalton was living with his uncle Raymond Gerber in Scattered, Highland Township, San Bernardino County, California. In 1930, he was boarding at 1032 5th Street in San Bernardino's 5th ward and was working as a laborer on a railroad. On 25 August 1942, Dalton enlisted at Los Angeles in the United States Army. At the time, he was 41-years-old, had completed one-year of high school and was working as medical equipment maintenance technician. He was single, had no dependents, was 5 ft-11 inches tall and weighed 164-lbs. Dalton, age 49, died on a Friday. |

| Biography* | Gordon A. Mott, 1905-2000: Gordon worked for the Milwaukee-St. Paul Railroad and Kennedy Dairy until WWII when he worked at Madison Kipp and Badger Ordnance. After the war, most of Gordon's working years were spent with the Madison Area School System. He had many hobbies including trains, motorcycles, fishing, and traveling. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace parish and the Catholic Knights. Gordon, age 94, died on a Monday at a local hospital. He was survived by his wife, two children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers. The funeral was held from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic church, 401 South Owen Drive, on Thursday and was officiated by Monsignor Kenneth Fiedler. Cress funeral home, 3610 Speedway Road, was in charge of arrangements. Let his legacy be a lesson in how to love. |
