| Biography* | Evelyn Marie Hohn Neuheisel, 1910-2009: Both of Evelyn's parents were born in South Dakota. She was living in Ethan, South Dakota at the time of her 1929 marriage. Evelyn was married to Harold Neuheisel by the Rev. William Eckl with her sister and Harold's brother as witnesses. They moved to Armour, South Dakota in 1938. In Armour, Evelyn cleaned houses for local families The family moved to Sioux Falls in 1947 where she worked for the John Morrell Company in the Sausage deptartment. Evelyn retired from Morrell in 1974 after 27 years. She enjoyed crafts including crocheting and needlepoint. Evelyn also made afghans for family and friends. She was a devout catholic and member of St Lambert's parish. Evelyn, a resident of 4500 Prince of Peace Place in Sioux Falls died on a Saturday at age 98years/07months/09days. She was survived by one son, a son-in-law, seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one sister, and one brother. |

Funeral services were held on Saturday at Saint John's church in Blooming Valley of rural Corsica with the Rev. Eugene Ketterling officiating. |

Later, he worked at Amcon Distributing and Remodel King Company. Louis was a member of Cathedral parish and Moose Lodge. Louis died on a Monday. He was survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, two sisters, and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters. The funeral was held on Thursday from the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help with the Rev. Mark McCormick officiating. Osheim-Catron funeral home was in charge of arrangements. |

| Biography* | Annie (Neuheisel) Hornung, 1870-1901: When her father died in 1877, Annie and her brother Casper were adopted by her uncle and aunt, Philip and Catherine Neuheisel. She lived the rest of her life in their home in Spring Green except for three years spent in Minneapolis with her sister Francisca's family. Her main occupation was that of dressmaker. In Minneapolis, she was employed as a wire weaver. Annie died as the result of burns sustained in a gasoline explosion which occured in the kitchen of her home. The accident occured about 6:30 p.m. on a Monday and she died about 10 p.m. the next day. Her uncle, who sustained terrible burns in the accident as well, survived. Funeral services were held on Thursday morning at Saint John's in Spring Green with the Rev. Laurer officiating. |

| Biography* | Bergetta T. Hornung Husted, 1918-2008: Bergetta was living at 2613 Hoard Street in Madison and working as a beautician at the time of her 1945 marriage. She and Robert were married by the Rev. Ferdinand J. Mundschau before witnesses John J. Moriarty and her niece Pearl Wengeyn. She was living in Buffalo, New York in 1975 and 1990. Bergetta died on a Tuesday. She was predeceased by her husband, brothers and sisters. She was survived by three sons, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bergetta's funeral was held from St. Teresa's church on Friday. The Thomas H. McCarthy funeral home, 1975 Seneca Street, was in charge. |

| Biography* | Edgar George Hornung, 1908-1990: Edgar lived most of his life in the Roxbury-Waunakee area where he farmed until 1971. He was a member of Saint John's Parish and Madison Moose Lodge 1451. Edgar died on a Thursday at a Madison nursing home following a long illness. He was survived by his wife, one daughter, one son, five grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Funeral services were held on Saturday from Saint John's with the Rev. Elmer Dietzel and the Rev. Monte Robinson officiating. NOTE: The surviving son listed in Edgar's obituary is Dean (Virginia) Kreger of Middleton. Dean is actually Edgar's grand-nephew, the grandson of his sister Verena. |

Spitzlberger and sponsored by her aunt Franzisca Neuheisel (her mother's sister). By 1901 Francisca was living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1920, she and her family were renting at 800 Broadway in Minneapolis. In 1924, when her mother died, she was living at 849 Broadway NE in Minneapolis. Circa 1926, she moved to De Forest in Dane County, Wisconsin. In 1930, she was living on a rented farm in Vienna township, Dane County. Francisca died on a Thursday at a Rochester hospital. She was survived by her husband, three daughters, one son, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral servcies were held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at Saint Michael's in Dane, Wisconsin with the Rev. A. J. Reinl officiating. |

She was a member of Saint Bernard's parish and it's Over Fifty Club, the Nakoma Country Club, Eastside Business Women, Catholic Daughters of Isabella, and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Helma died on a Thursday. She was survived by two sisters and many nieces and nephews. The funeral was held on Monday from Saint Bernard's, 2250 Atwood Avenue with Monsinger Michael Hippee presiding.
