Biography* Leslie F. Bradshaw, 1889-1964:
Born on the home farm to a father born in Wisconsin and a mother born in Ontario, Canada, Leslie's family moved to Worthing when he was six-years-old. He grew to be a man of medium height and build, with dark eyes and black hair. For a number of years Leslie assisted his father in the banking business. After his marriage, Leslie and his wife moved to a farm eight-and-one-half miles south of Worthing. They farmed there for nearly 40 years. Leslie was a member of the Good Shepard Episcopal Church in Sioux Falls. He also belonged to the El Riad Shrine there, the Oriental Consistory of Yankton, and the Blue Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, Odd Fellows and Rebecca Lodge in Worthing. He was drafted into the U. S. Army in May 1918 and served in France for several months during World War I. He was discharged in April 1919. Later he was a member of American Legion, Wm. R. Bradshaw Post.

Leslie, age 75, died on a Thursday after a two week stay in a Sioux Falls hospital. He had been in poor health for four years. He was survived by his wife. Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Dondot Chapel by the Rev. Zeno Johnson. Pallbearers were Paul Graum, Tommy Nelson, Charles Ralph, Warren Gerber, Randy Anderson, and Michael Sanders.

In 1930, Frederick was renting an apartment in his mother-in-law's house and was working as a die-maker.

Later a resident of 33 Arthur Street, Worcester, Frederick died in hospital on a Tuesday after a brief illness. He was 56. Frederick was survived by his wife, mother, one son, one daughter, four brothers, and four sisters. Frederick's funeral was held from the home on Thursday with a high mass at St. Stephen's church.

There is conflicting evidence of Mary Brugger's birthplace. Julius Billeter's Gerber Record lists it as Butzberg, Switzerland. Another source lists her birthplace as Beitleberg. As of 1900, Mary had given birth to six children, three of whom were living. She was a member of the Reformed German church.
