| Biography* | Theresia Emser Neuheisel, 1816-1876: The sixth of twelve herself, Theresia bore 14 children to term including two multiple births. Her first pregnancy was twins both of whom died early. Following the twins, she had five single births and then triplets, followed by four more single births. Have not discovered a history of multiple births in either George nor Theresia's families so am not sure of the origin of this multiple birth gene. Seven of Theresia's siblings had children, but only one other had a multiple birth, twins. Husband George had four siblings, one of whom had children, and that sibling had one set of twins. However, the multiple birth gene survived at least into the next geneation. Eight of Theresia's children, who bore children themselves, had at least three, and possibly four, sets of twins. Quite a few of Theresia's relatives came to the U.S.A. Why they did so is unknown. The two oldest of her seven adult siblings remained in Jägersburg. The six youngest, of which Theresia herself was the oldest, all came to the states. At least three of the five immigrating siblings spent time near where Theresia was living. In addition, several cousins made appearances. Theresia is also known to have received communication from at least one sibling, a brother that lived in Pennsylvania. She herself could not sign her name and was presumably illiterate. She died on a Monday and was buried the same day from Saint Luke's with the Rev. C Sieghardt officiating. |

| Biography* | Evaline V. Erbe Neuheisel, 1879-1951: Evaline was a first generation German-American born of Prussian parents, her father having immigrated in 1864. In 1880, her family lived in Princton Village, Green Lake County, Wisconsin. Evaline's father was a blacksmith. By 1900, the family had moved to Montello Village in Marquette County where they owned their home. Evaline's father was working as a hardware merchant. Evaline had one sister, Minnie. A third child died - name, sex and birthdate unknown. Circa 1921, married and with two daughters, Evaline and family moved to San Antonio, Texas. Evaline of 1120 Kayton Avenue, San Antonio died at home on a Monday of tuberculosis. She was 71 years old and was survived by her husband and two daughters. |

| Biography* | Esther Erickson Snyder, 1901-1996: Esther was a first generation Swedish/German-American and the youngest child in the family. Her father Carl was born in Sweden. Carl immigrated in 1888, was a naturalized U.S. citizen and in 1910 was a farmer. Esther's mother Anna was born in Germany and her marriage to Esther's father was her second. Anna had six children, four by her first husband Mr. Beireis. In 1910, the family was living on a farm, which they owned with mortgage, in Lake View township of Becker county, Minnesota. By 1920, the family was living at 202 Frazee Street in Detroit Lake's 3rd ward in a house which they owned. When she grew up, Esther worked as a registered nurse (RN). Esther, a resident of 610 Summit Drive, Fairmont (according to the Social Security Death Index - Esther was a resident of Pleasanton, Alamdea County, California 94588), died on a Tuesday at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont at age 95. Cause of death was acute myocardial infarction and hypertensive heart disease. Esther was attended by Dr. P.A. Ruth, Fairmont Clinic - Mayo health system, 800 Clinic Circle, Fairmont. Esther's funeral was held on Friday. Olson Funeral Home was in charge. |
