Biography* Theodore L. Wetternach, 1907-1986:
Theodore's father was born in Germany, his mother was born in Michigan. In 1930, he was living with his parents at 839 Fourteenth Avenue im Seattle. Theodore moved to the Madison/Verona area the following year. He was a long time member of Holy Redeemer Parish, a former Grand Knight for the Knight's of Columbus Council 531 and a life member of the Elks.

Theodore, age79, died in his home at 310 Williams Circle on a Saturday. He was survived by his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Joyce funeral home, 5701 Odana Road, Madison with the Rev. Tony Karls officiating.

Biography* Lucy Millicent White Clancy, 1883-1972:
Born Lucy Millicent White, she was known for most of her life as Millicent. Her Social Security Death Index and her county death record list her birth year as 1883; her tombstone is inscribed 1882. Millicent was a strong-willed woman and very independent for her time. She would take her children to the family farm in Lake County, Michigan for vacations. The farm was located outside of Baldwin, Michigan about 65 miles north of Grand Rapids on what is now state highway 37. The trip from Riverside to the farm was about 264 miles. Without interstates and divided highways, the trip probably took in excess of 7 hours. They stayed in a log cabin at the farm, devoid of electricity and running water.

In later years Millicent lived at 539 Duane Avenue in Glen Ellyn, Dupage County, Illinois. She died on a Friday, at age 88, of progressive cerebral sclerosis and thrombosis from which she had been suffering for 5 years.

Biography* James M. Whiteis, 1882-1941:
James was born to a father born in Ohio and a mother born in New York. He was living in Spring Green and working as a carpenter when he married in 1914. James was a tall man of medium build with grey eyes and black hair. He and his wife continued to live in Spring Green after their marriage. He was the caretaker of the Tower Hill state park from circa 1936.

James, age 59, died in a Madison hospital on a Saturday. He was survived by his wife, two daughters, and one brother. The funeral was held on Tuesday in the Congregational church in Spring Green with the Rev. R. F. Merritt officiating. Pall bearers were Clyde and Robert Whiteis, Fred and Floyd Holly, Jos. Rupert and Geo. Whiteis.

Biography* Madeline Whiteis Schwartz, 1915-1998:
Born probably in Spring Green, Madeline moved to Madison after her marriage in 1936. That marriage was performed by Joseph Buschelmann and was witnessed by Raymond Schwartz and Frances Schwartz. In 1972, she was living at 117 Cumberland Avenue in Madison.

A member of Saint Dennis parish, Madeline, age 82, died at her home on a Saturday. She was survived by five daughters, two sons, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-granddchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday from Saint Dennis Catholic church. The Gunderson funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
