Biography* Harold J. Schneider, 1909-1994:
Harold was employed for over 30-years at Oscar Meyer before retiring. He was member of Saint Patrick's parish.

Harold, age 84, died on a Saturday at a local nursing home. He was survived by his wife, one son, three grandsons, one sister, and one brother. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. The funeral was held from Saint Patrick's Catholic church, 404 East Main Street, on Wednesday with the Rev. Raymond Maier officiating. The Joyce funeral home, 540 West Washington Avenue, was in charge of arrangements.

Biography* Mary Ann Schoenman Gerber, 1850-1916:
A native of Hardin, Ohio according to the Memorial and Biographical Record, Mary Ann's parents were both born in Switzerland. The family came to Wisconsin when Mary Ann was six years of age. She lived in Spring Green after her 1869 marriage, until moving to Lincoln County, South Dakota where the family homesteaded. Later the family moved into the village of Worthing where they resided until 1900. Mary Ann was plagued by poor health, and in 1900, the family moved to Redlands, California in hopes of providing her some relief.

Mary Ann did indeed regain her health in California which she continued to enjoy until she fell and broke her hip circa 1913. This accident led to cancer of the bone which caused her much suffering. After her husband died in 1914, her health continued to gradually deteriotate. An operation in a Los Angeles hospital was of little help. Mary Ann died on a Wednesday at the home of her daughter Ida Spradling.

Albert, age 73, died at home on a Wednesday after a long illness. He was survived by his wife, two daughters, four sons, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, and two brothers. Funeral services were held on Saturday at Saint Bernard's, 2459 Atwood Avenue.
