Margaret, of 5343 Wells Avenue, died at home on a Friday at age 36 of cardiac insufficiency, dilation left ventricle, and myocarditis. She was survived by her husband, daughter, father, and two brothers. The funeral was held on Monday from Saint Mark's church. Masterson Funeral Home of 815 South 14th Street was in charge.

In 1930, after her husband died, Lillie is living with her sister Irene Disper and Irene's husband Joseph at 4140 Lee Avenue in St. Louis 21st ward. Lillie is working as a receiving room clerk at Kline's Clothing.

Lillie, age 62, a resident of 3001 Bailey Avenue with her sister, died at home on a Saturday. She was survived by her sister and two brothers. The cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage, hypertension, arterio-sclerosis, and endocarditis. Her physician was Dr. William O Mowley?, 3625 Fair Avenue. Lillie's funeral was held at Holy Name, East Grand & Emily Avenues. Calvin F. Feutz Funeral Home, 4828 Natural Bridge Blvd, was in charge.

Biography* Catherine Flynn O'Brien, 1865-1948:
Catherine, a first generation Irish American and the eldest of four, two daughters and two sons, was christened at St. Michael's Church in St. Louis on 05 November 1865 by the Rev. Pat'k O'Brien with sponsors John Dunphy and Hanora Hinchey. In 1870, the family lived in St Louis 10th ward. In 1880, they lived at 217 Howard Street in the 4th ward. Catherine's father worked as a teamster. Her 1886 marriage was witnessed by Mike O'Brien, of no known relation to the groom, and her sister. By 1900, the family lived at 2904 North 12th Street in the 3rd ward and had six children. Her husband Michael died in November of that year. By 1930, Catherine owned a $4,000 house at 2820 22nd Street in the 18th ward.

Catherine, a resident of 4218 St. Louis Avenue, died on a Wednesday at age 82. Cause of death was cerebral apoplexy. Her physician was Dr. M. P. Shorecey, City Infirmary Hospital, 5800 Arsenal, St. Louis. Catherine's funeral was held on Saturday from St. Matthew's Church. Howard North Side Funeral Home, 4212 St. Louis Avenue was in charge. She was buried with her parents.

The fourth born and second girl, Marguerite's father was born in Germany and her mother was born in Ireland. In 1910, the family rented at 1514 Salisbury Avenue in St Louis 2nd ward. Her father worked for a stove company. In 1920, they were renting at 2023 Destrehan Street. Her father worked as a shipping clerk.

Marguerite, a resident of 3167 North 13t Street in St. louis 26th ward, died on a Monday in Christian hospital, St Louis nine dats after having given birth. Cause of death was related to the pregnancy. She was 24. Marguerite's funeral was held on Saturday. Matt Hermann and Son Funeral Home of 2161 East Fair Avenue was in charge of arrangements.

Biography* Caroline Gallaher Cody, 1861-1919:
Caroline immigrated with her parents and four siblings before the age of nine. By that time, in 1870, she was living in Saint Louis (with her parents). Her father was a civil engineer. Caroline returned to Ireland at least once. She made the trip with her daughter Anna sometime after her daughter's birth in 1892. Caroline and her daughter returned to the U.S.A. on the steamship Campania arriving at the Port of New York on 10 November 1894. In addition to her daughter and herself, there were two other passengers that listed their final destination as Missouri. One of those was Annesgrove Michael Cody - her husband's first cousin. It is likely that Caroline and Michael knew each other, that they were traveling together and that Michael was accompanying Caroline and her daughter to Saint Louis. He did eventually live in the same parish in Saint Louis.

Caroline died at home on a Sunday at age 57 of carcinoma of pecum. She was attended by Dr. I. W. Bocesde?, 300-1 Wall Building. Caroline's funeral was held on Tuesday from the residence at 6252 Famous Avenue followed by services at Saint James church. Geo Kingshauser Funeral Home, 4102 Manchester was in charge. Caroline was a member of L.C.B.A.

In 1900, the year before Winfield was born, the family was living at 2610 Sarah Street in St. Louis 26th ward. Winfield's father was a first generation German American born in Missouri. His mother was a first generation German American born in Illinois. By 1920, the family lived at 3111 Cherry Street, Maplewood City, St. Louis County. Winfield, age 18, was working as a bookkeeper at an electric company. Circa 1926, Winfield married Emma Roseman. By 1930, they had three daughters and owned a $6,800 house on Leonhard Drive, Rock Hill Town, St Louis County. Sometime later, Winfield and Emma divorced and subsequently, Winfield married Blanche Mertens.

Winfield died on a Tuesday at age 68. He is buried with his second wife Blanche.

In 1920 at age 14, John was living with his parents and maternal grandmother at 3934 St Louis Avenue in St. Louis 20th ward.

Jack died on a Thursday at age 79. He apparently was married for a 2nd time, after his first wife's death in 1946, to Penny Hedrick. His first wife, Blanche Muckermann, and the two children he had with her are not mentioned in his obituary. Five other children are mentioned as well as four grandchildren. Memorials to the White House Retreat League were requested. Jack's funeral was held on Moday from the Basilica (Old Cathedral). Kreigshauser's West Service was in charge of arrangements. He was buried with his parents and maternal grandparents.

Biography* Orlando F. Guthrie, 1841-1901:
Born in Kentucky to parents also born in that state, Orlando fought on the side of the south during the uncivil war. He served as a lieutenant in the 1st Missouri Cavalry; in Company B, 3rd Battalion, Missouri volunteer cavalry, and; in Company H of Gates' Regiment Cockrells Brigade. Later, Orlando served in the Spanish-American war in Light Battery A of the 6th Regiment Mossouri volunteer infantry. He was living in Saint Louis at the time of his 1894 marriage to Annie Cody. He worked as a traveling salesman.
